Heptol EMG |
|
Acid sequestering agent with a high pH
buffering property, Heptol EMG is used mainly for demineralization. The
complete removal of metal catalysts prior to bleaching ensures subsequent
bleaching results of high degree of whiteness and low extent of fibre
damage. Not steam volatile,
non-corrosive to stainless steel and no formation of insoluble calcium salt
are its added advantages over other acids for deminerization. 1.0 – 5.0 g/l depending on metal content
and the procedure |

Heptol KEB |
|
Sequestering and
dispersing agent with very high binding capacities towards heavy metal ions, Heptol KEB in
peroxide bleaching acts as a booster for better dispersing and better
stabilizing properties of the systems, it is highly recommendable to add Heptol KEB to
prevent formation of silicate depositions in silicate bleaching and to
prevent formation of pin-holes in silicate free bleachings. When Heptol KEB is used
alone as a stabilizer and if the water is soft, it is advisable to add an
appropriate small amount of magnesium salt to the peroxide bath. |

Heptol CEB

Sequestering and dispersing agent with
very high alkaline resistance and high binding capacities towards heavy metal
ions, Heptol CEB
in peroxide bleaching acts as a booster for better alkaline resistance,
better dispersing and better peroxide stabilizing properties of the system. It is highly recommended to add Heptol CEB to
improve alkaline stability of the feeding liquor, to prevent formation of
silicate depositions in silicate bleachings and to prevent formation of
pin-hole in silicate free bleachings. When Heptol
CEB is used alone as a peroxide stabilizer and
if the water is soft, it is advisable to add an appropriate small amount of
magnesium salt to the peroxide bath. |

Heptol ESW
|

Sequestering and dispersing agent with
excellent binding capacities towards alkaline earth metal and heavy metal
ions, Heptol ESW
keeps its binding capacities in alkaline medium and is an outstanding
sequesterant against catalystic damage during peroxide bleaching. Heptol
ESW could be also added to the dyebath but
application amount should be always kept to the minimum. |

Heptol WZB
|

Sequestering and dispersing agent with
outstanding binding capacities towards alkaline earth metal and heavy metal
ions, Heptol WZB
is a perfect disperser for calcium silicate in the silicate bleaching bath
and for calcium carbonate in a reactive dye dyebath. Heptol
WZB is also a very good soaper for reactive
dye dyeings. |

Heptol TGA
|
|
Dispersing and sequestering agent for
alkaline scouring, Heptol TGA is capable of dispersing and removing ferrous
iron ion from cotton fabric in an alkaline medium, producing iron-ion free
fabric for subsequent pin-hole free peroxide bleaching. Heptol
TGA cannot be used together with oxidizing
agents. |

Heptol ANO
|

Dispersing and sequestering agent for
pretreatment and dyeing, Heptol ANO is resistant to strong oxidizing agents, such as
persulphate and chlorine. Heptol ANO is an
excellent complexing and dispersing agent for calcium and magnesium ions,
making itself for a perfect dyebath dispersing agent and a perfect soaping
agent for reactive dye dyeings. |
