Properties, applications

Contavan EB300

General peroxide stabilizer, particularly for exhaustion application, Contavan EB300 is highly efficient even used at low concentrations.

0.2 – 1.0 %, o.w.f. for discontinuous procedure.

Contavan TIG

Peroxide stabilizer very stable to alkalis, Contavan TIG has an excellent stabilizing, dispersing and sequestering capacities towards catalysts and agents causing water hardness.  It is especially suitable for bleachings free from sodium silicate, and for highly reinforced feeding liquors.

0.5 -1.0 %, o.w.f. for discontinuous procedure.

3 – 6 g/l for continuous procedure.

Contavan PKM

Peroxide stabilizer for bleaching with sodium silicate, Contavan PKM has an excellent dispersing capacity towards insoluble silicates, with which silicate depositions could be avoided.

0.5 -1.0 %, o.w.f. for discontinuous procedure.

3.0 – 6.0 g/l for continuous procedure.

Contavan PKS

Peroxide stabilizer for bleaching with sodium silicate, Contavan PKS has an excellet dispersing capacity towards insoluble silicates, with which silicate deposition can be avoided.  When used in soft water, an appropriate small amount of magnesium salt should be added to the bleaching recipe.

0.25 – 1.0%, o.w.f. for discontinuous procedure.

Contavan GAL

General peroxide stabilizer stable to alkalis, Contavan GAL has excellent stabilizing properties in the presence of catalysts, producing bleaching results of high degree of whiteness, low extent of fibre damages.

Contavan GAL is recommended both for silicate containing and silicate free bleaching processes.

0.5 – 1.0 %, o.w.f. for discontinuous.

3.0 – 6.0 g/l for continuous procedure.

Contavan CPB

Peroxide stabilizer stable to alkalis, Contavan CPB has excellent stabilizing properties in the presence of catalysts, and has good dispersing properties against silicate depositions. It is highly recommended for cold pad-batch bleaching, with and without using sodium silicate.

3.0 – 6.0 g/l for continuous procedure.
